Overview
My name is J. Lee Rabiner, the creator and leader of Doncaster Fashionistas. Since February 2007, I have been a wardrobe consultant who helps women like yourself to enhance their personal image by educating them on what particular cuts, colors, and patterns work best for their body architecture, lifestyle requirements, and personal styling preferences. Most importantly, I counsel women on proper fit since it is the key factor in whether an outfit flatters a woman.
The name Doncaster Fashionistas is rooted in the exclusive clothing line that I am associated with, Doncaster – a private label clothier for distinguishing women who seek fine tailored clothing. Doncaster was founded in 1931 and provides clothing options from size 2-24 (including petites) in the most exquisite fabrics with fine detailing often only found among couture labels. Our fabrics are sourced from the finest design houses in Europe, often shared with Chanel, Armani, and Yves St. Laurent.
Doncaster is definitely an investment line of designer tailored clothing but worth the initial cost as the clothing lasts long term. (NOTE: It costs less than equivalent quality designer women’s clothing due to the nature of its distribution, which saves money that is passed on to the consumer.) Given that most garments last at least 5 to 10 years if properly maintained, one of the things my clients and I appreciate most about Doncaster is that they keep their previous color pallets for up to 10 years, and references them along with the current color trend pallets when creating their new lines. This results in new fresh pieces which coordinate perfectly with previous purchases. This enables you to simply add on individual pieces each fashion season for fresh new updated looks, without having to purchase entire new outfits! In the long run, you are able to build a designer wardrobe cost effectively … and always feel that you can go to your closet and easily find something to wear because many of the pieces mix and match!
In addition, Doncaster designs their line with multiple body architecture types (see my blog entries about body architecture types) in mind, as well as age groups, dressing personas (romantic, sporty, classic, diva, etc.). So, when you review the line, you will not love everything, but will find something that works for you perfectly…. it is designed for that intentionally!
Doncaster Fashionistas is an agency affiliated with the Doncaster Cincinnati Studio, which is located in Blue Ash, OH and serves the greater Cincinnati region. I work with women who are looking for a different way to shop in Austin – whether it is finding unique, fine designer clothing options not in any Austin store, finding sizes that are a challenge (such as plus sizes or petites) in the finest styles, cuts and fabrics, or being able to shop for an entire season’s wardrobe updates with a trusted adviser in the matter of one to two hours.
All clothing reviews and wardrobe consultations are conducted by private appointment with dedicated attention to you… without any sales pressure.
